Lamb balls with Zahtar /Zahtar

Ingredients:

250 g ground lamb
4 tsp Zahtar
1 tsp mild paprika
1 egg beaten
½ grated onion
1 pressed clove of garlic
Parsley
Oil (for cooking)

Preparation:

Mix all the ingredients except oil in a large bowl. Shape in balls and brown in oil. Serve warm with a yaourt sauce.

 

Yaourt sauce

8 oz nature yaourt
3 tbsp fresh mint (or 1½ tsp dried mint)
1 tsp lemon juice
