Cajun Shrimps / Cajun Seasoning

Ingredients:

8 tbsp butter
1 tbsp flour
2 green peppers bell
1 onion
2 sticks of celery, cubed
1 can 28 oz of tomatoes
2 c. chicken broth
2 tsp fresh parsley
1 tsp Cajun Seasoning
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp coarse salt
½ tsp Tabasco
1 pound raw and peeled shrimps
2 c. cooked white rice

Preparation:

Melt the butter at medium heat. Add in the flour and brown (3 to 4 minutes). Tumble in the green peppers bell, onion and celery. Cook for 7 minutes approx. Add in the tomatoes, the broth, paprika, coarse salt, Tabasco and the Cajun Seasoning. Bring to boil and then set a slow heat. Cook until light thickness of the liquid (about 30 minutes). Add in the shrimps and cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Serve on a bed of rice and garnish with parsley.
